Composition
Calcium Carbonate 500 mg+Cholecalciferol 250 IU
Cipcal 500 Tablet is primarily used to treat conditions caused due to low calcium levels in body like Vitamin D deficiency, latent tetany(a condition where the muscles are overly sensitive) and metabolic bone diseases (osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets and hyperparathyroidism).
This tablet fulfills calcium and vitamin D3 requirements and helps maintain healthy bones and teeth. It supports the proper growth and development of bones in children. It is also prescribed as a supplement during pregnancy and breastfeeding to meet increased calcium and vitamin D requirements.
This tablet is generally well-tolerated but may not be suitable for everyone. It is contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia (high levels of calcium in the blood) and severe heart and kidney problems.
